Luncheon Requirements
All Girls In Technology members must commit to attending and participating in the monthly luncheons, which are held on one Thursday of each month in Reagan's library.
Luncheon DatesNote: All luncheons occur from 10:35 to 11:45 am in Reagan's library.

Northwestern Mutual Mentors
4/19/18 Over a dozen Northwestern Mutual employees ventured to Ronald Reagan High School to meet with student members of Girls in Technology for mentorship and a meal. This was the kick-off of a new mentorship program. The long-term relationships built between these vested mentors and our students will create direct links to careers in technology for women.

As Director of Marketing with Fiserv Credit Union Solutions, Suzanne is currently leading a cross-functional marketing organization responsible for product marketing, demand generation, internal communications, client communications, public relations, and events designed to promote technology solutions that enable financial services at the speed of life. |

Role: Systems Analyst Bio: Heather Nutbeam has been in IT for over 20 years with over 18 of those years at Standard Electric Supply Co. IT allows Heather to use her creativity and logic to find good solutions to problems and inefficiencies. Heather finds that every day in the IT world is different and the evolution of technology keeps her from getting bored. Heather has been a Girl Scout leader, and she is still involved in Girl Scouts as well as the Lego First Robotics league. |

Role: Girls Who Code Instructor Bio: Kathleen Baert is a senior at Marquette University majoring in Computer Science. This year will be her third year as a Level 1 Instructor at Marquette’s Girls Who Code weekly club, a club which seeks to inspire and equip middle and high school girls to pursue computer science and engineering. Kathleen recently accepted a full-time job offer after graduation at the Kohl’s Corporate Offices to be a Software Engineering. |

Role: Associate Professor of Computer Science and Administrator for Girls Who Code Bio: Christine Cheng is an Associate Professor of Computer Science at UW-Milwaukee. Her research interests lie at the intersection of Discrete Math and Algorithms. More recently, she has been involved in several initiatives that seek to increase more women in Computer Science. |
